The mist started to roll up from the Forth early on the 11th December and this image from the top floor of our school was visible for around half an hour. A fantastic panorama with the sun just coming up and shining almost horizontally across the school fields and Arthur Seat floating above the mist. Just after this the mist became fog and blanketed the whole of Edinburgh for 2 days. I thought this was so good I have had it made into a canvas print (8inches high by 22 inches long) which really is good looking. the sunlight really shows up the Autumn colours in the trees at the edge of the field.
